The NCEA is a resource for policy makers, social service and health care practitioners, the justice system, researchers, advocates, and families.
National Center for Gerontological Social Work Education, the Council for Social Work Education Gero-Ed Center offers resources for social work faculty, students, and practitioners who are committed to enhancing their gerontological competence.
Stanford Geriatric Education Center, provides a variety of multidisciplinary ethnogeriatric programs and curriculum resource materials to educate health care professionals on the cultural issues associated with aging and health. The United States International Council on Disabilities, is a federation of US-based non-governmental organizations, federal agencies and individuals committed to advocacy and action on behalf of the global disability rights.
Caregiving
Aging in Place Partnerships: A Training Program for Family Caregivers of Residents Living in Affordable Senior Housing, this article describes the development and testing of a program to expand the capacity of family caregivers of residents in affordable senior housing properties and enhance the partnerships between family caregivers and the housing properties tohelp residents meet their needs and ‘age in place’.
